United States hosted FIFA World Cup of 1994 from June 17 to July 17, 1994. The United States was chosen as hosts by FIFA in July 1988. Brazil became the first nation to win four World Cup titles when they beat Italy 3-2 in a penalty shootout after the game ended 0-0 after extra-time, the first final to be decided by penalties.

24 teams were participated in 1994s world Cup and 52 matches were played. Average number of goal was 2.71 in per match and total number goals was 141. Both Salenko (RUS) and Stotchkov (BUL) was the best player and they made 6 goals each.
